Several exhibit items and lander components are illustrated in
three images and on the lander body. The images are:
- The Lander 1 color image and description; to be added
- The Large black and white Lander 1 panoram above and to
the east of the lander
- The color photo of the Science Test Bed lander in the
Smithsonian National Air & Space Museum, Washington, D.C.

- The prominent, 3 segment rock Big Joe, in this image and
the panoram, is about 1 meter high is indicated by a <font
color="blue" size="+2"> Blue</font> dot
- 2.
- The S-Band antenna, and its shadow, used for direct
communications with the Deep Space Network on Earth at 1,000
Baud is indicated by a <font color="red" size="+2">Red </font>
dot
- 3.
- The Meteorology Sensor Array and its shadow
protruding from the S-Band antenna shadow, is indicated by a
<font color="green" size="+2">Green </font>dot
