This scene shows a rocky field. Patches of drift material and possibly bedrock are visible in the distance. <br> Future Mars missions will learn more about the <a href="../mars_info.html">Red Planet</a> and perhaps pave the way for the creation of a human habitat. We cannot take everything to Mars that is needed to sustain the lives of colonizers. Mars itself would need to provide most of the colonizer's needs.
