The Ladder is an ongoing tournament that's been running since 1993. It provides an opportunity for casual players to find people of similar skill level. Anybody with an email account and access to the UW IMA building can join. Most players are students at the University of Washington, but we've got a few faculty and staff members as well. There are no fees, prizes, trophies. Just a chance to find worthy opponents, and the incentive of seeing your name move up the ladder as you get better.
