David Warren
Software Engineer

You have landed on the home page of David Warren. I am a software engineer in the department of Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Washington. I am the author the world famous (ok not really) alarm program. This is based on the set of scripts put together by Steve Malone for the same purpose.

In addition I am one of the people working on IVE (a scientific visualization program based on NCAR Graphics and NETCDF). Then in my spare time I co-manage a network of Linux Clusters, Linux Workstations, PCs and MACS, work on parallelizing weather models, ingesting real time data etc.
