Activity #7: The Big Bad Eight (Optional)

Research the eight most common air pollutants. The pollutants are:

• Carbon monoxide
• Ozone
• Particulates,
• Sulfur dioxide,
• Carbon monoxide,
• Lead
• Nitrogen oxide
• Toxics

Find or draw a picture of their sources (where the pollutant comes from), describe in words what the effects of the air pollutant are to human health and to the environment, and suggest solutions to the pollutant problem.

Example:
